April 03, 2006Sermonette(In a break from our usual format, we have asked the Rev. Paul Lloyd Waner, pastor of St. Honus of Carnegie Church in Coulter, to offer an inspirational message on behalf of a local charity case.) My dear brothers and sisters, peace be with you. (Next time: The Rev. Anthony Esposito, pastor of Badger Bob Church of Christ in Munhall Gardens, offers a eulogy for the Pittsburgh Penguins.) Posted by jt3y at April 3, 2006 07:18 AMComments
H-m-m-m. I suspect the same prayer (with suitable substitutions) should be said for the Washington Nationals. Despite their overachievement last year, I suspect they too may leave an odor around RFK (though it may be harder to distinguish from the "native" odors). The team almost didn't get the new stadium deal done, and as of now still do not have an owner. Thier off-season deals were either not worth much, or blew up in their faces. Maybe we'll try to attend a Nationals-Pirates game up there sometime this summer.
